Total Stranger

In the rain we meet,
A tiny feast is taking place.
We should have done by now with harmless feelings.
Keeping quiet is not a crime.
Too much noise is never enough and yet,
We keep on trying to escape the narrow path of life.
As visitors, we are told that we are not allowed to play.
Like a Trojan horse we work,
Witty minds are dangerous.
Bullets are penetrating the iron glass of our confident ego.
No proof is necessary.
Too much work will make Jack a dull boy.
Too much love is dangerous.
Day by day we magnify you.
My deepest condolences for your family's loss.
I can’t find comfort in your words.
We can raise our glasses and make a toast.

Oh stranger…please come back.
